Billy Berry opens the line of communication between various parties within the supply chain—including manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, owners, and more. With over 31 years in both public and private sectors, Billy has experience in management consultation, team building, professional development, strategic implementation, and company collaboration. Billy has managed projects with his customers for success in many areas.
Max Mecklenburg
Manager – Glenwood Springs
Max was born in Illinois, where most of his extended family still live. He then had a unique childhood living in Japan until age 22. Max learned to speak Japanese while attending public elementary school and is now working on improving his Spanish fluency. He received his Associate’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland, University College, and then multiple Bachelor’s Degrees, including Business Management & Administration, Leadership & Resort Management, and Land & Resource Management from Western State Colorado University. While at Western State, Max fell in love with the Western Slope of Colorado and vowed to find a way to return. He found the perfect opportunity in 2016 and has been with Outwest Drywall Supply ever since. Max enjoys the challenging and fast-paced work environment of Outwest, getting great fulfillment by taking care of his customers and trying to anticipate their needs. Max and his wife Becca enjoy hiking, camping, and generally anything outdoors in the summer, and snowboarding, snowshoeing, or sneaking off for scuba diving trips in the winter. They can’t wait to share everything Colorado has to offer with their two young sons as they become little explorers.
Jordan Postlethwaite
Manager – Montrose
Born and raised in Colorado, Jordan has been in the drywall industry for 7 years. His career with Outwest began in 2016 as a Class A CDL driver and crane operator in Glenwood Springs. In September 2021, he transferred to our Montrose location where he assumed the role of Operations Manager. He spent the next few months training new drivers and office personnel, dispatching trucks and running daily administrative tasks. In mid-2022 Jordan was promoted to Branch Manager and has since been working to learn more about the industry through programs like the Industrial Distribution Program put on through Affiliated Distributors and Texas A&M University. Jordan and his family enjoy going Jeeping, fishing and camping around the San Juan mountains in the summer. In the summer of 2023, Jordan and his family will begin construction on their home in Montrose and look forward to spending many years to come in the Uncompahgre Valley.
Hugh Cranford
Manager – Eagle
Hugh hails from Texas where he was born and raised. He received his Bachelor’s from Texas Tech and pursued other careers prior to coming to Colorado in 2017. He started with Outwest in 2018 as a Class A CDL Boom truck driver for the Glenwood Springs yard. He transferred over to the Eagle yard during it’s infancy. He continued working as a driver and training new drivers and staff as well as helping out with daily administrative and office logistics. He became the operations manager of the Eagle yard near the end of 2020, while also obtaining his full Class A CDL, allowing him to be able to drive tractor trailer (semis). He took a break from the Drywall industry for a year before coming back in 2022, and has continued to work on learning more about the industry through programs like the Industrial Distribution Program put on through Affiliated Distributors and Texas A&M, and training the staff at the Eagle yard. Hugh enjoys spending time on the golf course during the warmer months and catching up on reading, TV shows, and other items missed during the golfing season.
